Welc0me Strangers..
In a way, I think the whole blog is a huge “About me” that is never ending (I hope), and that as much as I would like to say something about myself, the constant change makes it hard for me to capture my own essence in words. Hence, this about me page holds true as a past record, a record of my traits, idiosyncrasies and wackiness that I observed in my inconsistent life. I hope I don’t bore you.
I am a daughter, a granddaughter, a niece, a cousin and a sister, all of the roles which I really cherish, because that shows that I belong, and that I have a family to that will always care for me, and for me to care for in return.
I am also a friend, of which although I might not have that many friends, for those who know me and or even if our path crossed I still have a place in heart for all of you.
Of being a student, an undergraduate to be precise, I believe I could only describe myself as a slacker, more interested in something else than my own major, which I also believe I’ve chosen it due the inflated ego boosted by my secondary school results. I still enjoy my studies, but as far as all university students could say, you couldn’t possibly love all the subjects and I am no different.
If you know me in person, you would have known that I have a myriad of names called by different people that knows me. Of course, Aicy is not a given name that is listed in my identification card, but it is close enough that half of my relatives addresses me by that name since I could remember. I suppose the name was given to me by my friend named CHEY and it got stuck ever since. hAha!
As for Sleeping Princess, it is more of an escapism, a name coined by myself not exactly because I sleep excessively, although I love to sleep, but because I like to curl up in bed for a soothing music,good book (uMh textbooks excluded. haha). And of course being a huge EMOTIONAL MUSIC FREAK is an inseparable trait as well, which kinda fitted the nick.. ;-)
So, yeah if my writing is too long up there for you to digest, here are some point form facts “About Me”:
I am a twisted little loony in a whirl of confusion.
I am self centered, even narcissist as some would say, but I am who I am and I will be who I wanted to be.
I am cynical. Very cynical. Too cynical for my own good sometimes that it annoys people around me.
I have problems with my memory. Its either I could remember or I just couldn’t. Or it depends on whether I want to remember or not.
I love to sleep. Sleeping takes most of my free, bored time. And its a great hobby. You get to skim on meals and get slimmer at the same time. Providing you don’t eat right before sleeping, that is.
Eating is more towards pleasure than necessity.
There is something about me and myself that I couldn’t quite understand.
Rainy day makes me happy. If only I could stand under the rain and let the raindrops wash over me.
and I value freedom. In everything I do.
